A
little known fact is that Phillip Wilson, the president of Momentum98
was a major inspiration
for the creation of the Universal Light Expo.
The Universal Light Expo (originally called the Balanced Life Expo) was
the brainstorm of Conrad Sherwyn,
who as a friend of Phil Wilson,
watched the phenomenon of Whole Life Expos
and Holistic Health Expos
emerging in major cities in the United States.
Conrad felt slighted
that Columbus, Ohio did not have an expo.
So he ventured to bring
together many of the leaders in the holistic health and spiritual
community in Columbus, and created the steering committee for the
creation of the
First Expo of this kind in Columbus, Ohio, which
occurred in Oct. 1989. |
