BioStone Far Infrared Filter
In addition to filtering out impurities from tap water, the water
ionizer passes the water through the 'BioStone',
a ceramic formed of the semi-precious mineral Tourmaline. Tourmaline
NATURALLY emits far infrared energy
(FIR) and changes the surface tension of the water, making it easier to
process for the ionizer by beginning
the negative ion creation process. This increases the antioxidant
effect with the alkalinized water,
without an accompanying increase in alkalinity. Tourmaline has been
researched and found to activate animal & plant metabolism. It

The Jupiter* Melody Water
Ionizer is Jupiter* Science's (and the world's) most popular model.

Automatic Reversed
Cleaning Every water ionizer in the world, worth investing in, has an
inbuilt cleansing routine.
This ensures that any particles that may find their way past the filter
are not 'caught' in the ionizing cells.
The method is simple - the magnetic field in the chamber is reversed so
that any mineral that has energetically
adhered to a Titanium plate is repelled and flushed away. It's a clever
system, and assures the user of a long,
trouble free life, but it isn't perfect - except on the Melody. Before,
during the cleaning cycle, the water flow
was changed from alkaline to acid. Now, for the first time ever, the
Melody delivers only alkaline water from
the alkaline sprout. No more waiting even when your Melody is cleaning!
Extra levels of pH means
greater choice for you and other users. It also allows you to take
advantage of higher
alkaline pH levels when cooking, to make greens greener, rice fluffier
and coffee and tea more flavorful.
Varying levels of acid
water output means you can avail yourself of all of many ways you use
acid water; for your skin,
for your plants, for your home hygiene and more.
Pure water selection can
be important if you or visitors are on an acid-based drug regimen.
Although alkaline micro clustered water helps the absorption of many

The .1M (or optional 0.01
micron) 3-stage filtration plus BioStone Infrared means that not only

Large 5-plate polymer ion
plated platinum coated titanium ionizing plates. Some older design
water ionizers still use stainless steel plates,
which were found to emit nickel. Jupiter* Science and Toyo Water of
Japan collaborated to
produce the finest system of polymer bonded platinum coated Titanium
plates. These totally overcome this leaching problem and radically
enhance the lifespan of the plates, which are the heart of your Melody
system. The MicroLite
water ionizer also has 5 platinum coated titanium plates but they are

A stainless steel top
spout may seem a small thing until you actually use and Ionizer without
one. Some ionizers output their ionized water
via plastic hose back to the tap and out. The kitchen tap is one
of the most bacteria-laden zones

water anywhere; a real boon when the sink

circuitry means CHOICE. Some units on the market try to make out that
they are ionizers but

The
water cell is the heart of all Jupiter ionizers. Manufactured in Japan
to standards that makes Jupiter

Jupiter Science
has used a proprietary matting between the Venus cell
electrodes. With any water ionizer,
it is essential that this material
allow water to pass during ionization. What can happen, however, is
that,
unless there is an automatic cleaning cycle, very hard water will
leave deposits on this material and
eventually lower its transfer
efficiency. The new proprietary matting used in the Venus water cell is
extremely resistant to mineral deposits. Lime, iron, and other minerals
are "sloughed off" enabling better
ionization for a long period of time.
The inner
structure of the Venus water cell also enables a much better
acid from alkaline water separation.
This enhanced segregation between
alkaline and acid water results in more efficient ionization
as well as
better isolation of any remaining chlorine or fluoride.
This combination
of efficient draining, improved matting, and revised
inner structure enables the Venus
to operate very efficiently on only
one clean cycle of 10 seconds per every 20 liters.
Biostone
Filter
The
Venus
comes with the same .1M Biostone filter that is available in other top
Jupiter models. This filter is very effective at helping to remove many
water contaminants and will give a good 1000 gallons of filtered water.
You also have the option of purchasing the Venus with a .01M Biostone -
the finest domestic filter available.
Jupiter has made replacing the biostone filter
so much easier with the Venus. One simply opens the filter compartment
door, pushes the filter down on its spring loaded pedestal, and pulls
the filter out. New filter installation is literally a "SNAP".

The new control panel is membrane sealed making it easy to clean. A
gentle touch on the buttons is all that is needed to change any setting.

Flow
Control Knob
This special
feature has been, until now, only available on much more expensive
ionizers.
This enables you to control the flow of water easily on your ionizer
which in turn affects the strength of the alkaline water
and -ORP. The
slower the water flow the more time the water has to be altered by the
ionization process. However,
you will find that in almost all cases
there will not often be a reason why you would need to slow the flow
down due to
the exception strength of the Venus's ionization chamber.
The control knob though will prove very useful in helping to fine tune
your preferred pH level so that you get the exact
same pH level every
time you use your Venus.
Voltage
Regulator
This special
feature allows for exception user control as you can now reduce the
voltage if your water is very hard or increase the voltage
if your
water is very soft.
In the USA there are places like southern California and Texas where
there is a lot of extra calcium in the water and this water is called
hard.
Because a high level of minerals (or TDS) will produce a higher
than average pH you may wish to reduce the voltage so that your acid
and alkaline
settings show a good range of choices.
On the other hand in places like Seattle the water lacks minerals and
is called soft. By increasing the voltage in these areas you can get a
high
alkaline pH as well as a good acid pH.
