After several years of selling the Relax Sauna, we were shocked to discover that every other portable "FIR" sauna generates only about 30% far infrared Light. They use a far infrared cloth which covers a metallic grid, or hotplate. It appears that there is no legal definition of what a FIR Sauna is. When you see a sauna advertised as FIR, It means to me that it is at least 25% FIR Energy being generated. Each company "should" be able to tell you what percentage of the generated light is FIR light (healing light), which means the remaining generated light CANNOT be absorbed by your body. Most individuals selling these saunas have NO CLUE that their saunas are NOT even close to 100% FIR. On the other hand, our technology is the same as that in our Sky Eye Radiator that has been given a 510(k) number by the FDA, and is regarded as a medical device. We use a patented semi-conductor chip to generate the amazing FIR Light. The FDA has also confirmed that the light generated by our radiator technology is guaranteed to be 100% absorbable FIR (healing) light between 4 and 14 microns. If you are considering getting another sauna for less money, we can assure you that their technology is primitive compared to the technology of the Relax Sauna. A paneled sauna using a piece of cloth, and a hotplate is probably only about 25% FIR Light. Because it does not have intensity and purity, as does the Relax Sauna, it generally will not be as effective in terms of aiding healing, and certainly will not feel as incredible as the Relax Sauna does. Dozens of individuals who have not been using their expensive wooden saunas have purchased the Relax Sauna from us. Their main complaint is that it takes too long to warm up. Similarly, scores of those who own other portable saunas have also purchased the Relax Sauna from us. Their main complaint besides taking too long, is that they don't sweat, don't feel THIS Good and that their ailments haven't been helped that much.  Visible Light is from .4 (violet) microns to .7 (red) microns. Only the Far Infrared waves between 4 and 14 microns can be absorbed by the human body. Near Infrared, or Medium Infrared light is resisted by the body a its wavelengths are NOT in harmony with human energy. Ultra Violet energy is much stronger than near infrared, and because of this, our body resisting this energy causes friction, and as a result of this intense friction caused by the body's inability to absorb this light, it can cause suntan and even sunburn. The Healing Energy of Far Infrared Light sort of feels like a cross between enjoying a very nice warm shower, lying in a warm sun, and basking in the arms of, I guess you could say, Divine Love. THE ENERGY UNIT The Patented Automatic Heat Controlled Ceramic Semiconductor combines heat materials, FIR Materials, and a control component. By changing the atomic structure, the material which will radiate the Far Infrared Rays after absorbing energy is then added. It was then confirmed by top scientists in Taiwan that the wavelength is between 4 um and 14 um which is suitable (and reputed to be very beneficial) for our bodies. The device that can automatically control the temperature (for the user's safety) was then added. This device allows the ceramic semiconductor chip to lower the electric current when the heat is too high, and to increase the electric current when the heat is too low. Thus the heat is kept at a steady temperature at all times. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SET UP & PARTS    These are the parts that come with your sauna: The Tent, the Radiator & sticks, and the Chair. The controller unit is attached to the controller unit holder in the picture. The sticks hold up the tent. On each side of the radiator are prongs sticking up about 1 inch. The sticks go onto those prongs. Setting up the Sauna . Open the Box. Take out the Chair. Take out the Sauna cover. Take out the box, which contains the Double Radiator. The sticks also need to be taken out of the Sauna box. They are usually taped to the Radiator box.  The process of setting up the Sauna tent is a very simple process. Open up the Tent. You can see above 4 phases of opening up the tent. The next phase is setting the tent upright. Insert the chair inside the tent. Then insert the Radiator unit inside the tent, with the radiators facing the chair. Now pull the cord underneath the zipper, so it can be plugged in to an outlet. Then use the zipper of the tent (with the cord underneath the zipper), and zip up the tent, as you would a jacket. . We have to now put the sticks inside the tent to hold the tent upright. These sticks attach to the radiator. Put each of the two equal shaped double-ended sticks on each side of the radiator on top of the prongs. Then put the "solid black sticks" on top of the bottom sticks, as you face the sauna. One more step remains. The hardest part of setting up the sauna is getting the controller box on top of the stick that also holds up the sauna. The blue controller box holder goes on top of stick, where the stick is tucked inside the tent. To get a feel for how to do this, you can put the controller box on top of the stick before inserting the stick inside the tent. It wiggles. But when the stick is inside the tent, you can guide the groove in the blue controller holder over the stick and it then fits snugly, and not loosely. The controller box goes on the right side of the sauna tent, as you face the tent. This is pretty much the hardest part about putting the sauna together. Now Plug the 3-prong plug into any regular 110 outlet. You are almost ready to sweat now ! Put a folded towel on top of the seat. Now drape a towel over the whole seat. Turn the dial to 15, 20 or 30 minutes. Flip the Switches and the orange lights will turn on, the far infrared light is now being generated, and you can hear the fan pushing the heat away from the semi conductor chip so that the chip continues to work. Remember it is the energy rays (light that you can't see) that is being absorbed into the body. The heat you feel initially inside the tent is a by-product of creating this far infrared energy, which your body absorbs and resonates with. The light interacts with the water molecules inside your body, and magic starts to happen. Good luck enjoying your Relax Sauna. It uses about an 8 foot foot cord to plug in, and no matter where you are, you are all set to start your sauna. Traveling with Your Sauna The Relax Sauna comes with a travel bag. You can put the radiator and side poles into the bottom of this bag as you can see below in the photo on the right. Then put in the sauna tent, with flat side on the bottom. You then zip up the sauna bag, taking turns from both sides, and in the end applying a little pressure on the top of the sauna bag before you can finally zip the bag completely. You can then carry the chair in one hand, and the sauna bag in other hand as you proceed to your next destination.
